i think its breath taken for just a imagination of art work,
the background darkness goes so well with the pattern design everywhere, with the light still burning, giving this red light affect shows it off nicely for the pic which makes it standout, the clothes design makes it more gorgous by its flowness on the floor and the kind of smoke feel that holding the lamp in its place, i love the feel to this pic and that makes people happy of this feeling from art work, iam glad u didn't repeat the round patterns, would have not show the pic off different views, i like it as its simple of colours that go together to see the patterns clearly, photoshop rules with sketching <3

Vision:
I really like how you did the soul part of the piece, it makes it very mystic. The design of the guy looks good too. The main problem with this composition is that the guy and soul have very little interaction. At best, the guy is just looking at the soul, not really retrieving it. Maybe having him reach toward it would help to overall look improve.

Originality:
I do like how you incorporated patterns into the artwork, however there is very little that sets it apart from other anime/manga. I didn't think the concept was very original either.

Technique:
Again, kudos to the amazing patterning. It is very detailed and the wispy cloud looks pretty amazing. You made a simple composition look very complicated and detailed. The only thing missing from the piece is depth. It is not completely flat, but still shallow enough to lower the impact.

Impact:
Though the patterns were well done, the lack of depth and interaction didn't make this this piece stand out very much. It is eye candy while looking at it, but doesn't really stay in your head long afterward.

I find your artwork inspiring. In "Otherworld" I love the way you incorporate wonderful Renaissance patterns and art nouveau rendering into a united whole. Also the glow of the light and balance of dark and light is great. It is definitely other worldly!
